Superior Computer Recycling does not export. The point of recycling is to preserve our environment.
Exportation of metals is detrimental to the planet in two ways;
1. Remanufacture and New Manufacture are most ecologically sound when materials are indigenous or harvested near points of use.
2. Exported metals land in less developed countries for cheap labor tear down. These communities are NOT equipped to deal with toxic processing by-products and are inadvertently destroying their own
habitats.
Recycle
Recycle obsolete and outdated equipment. Active stewardship of resources preserves our children's
heritage. Superior Computer Recycling takes ownership and responsibility for all electronic material picked up from customer site or dropped off by customer, by appointment, at Superior Computer
Recycling designated drop off site. All customer assets are handled in accordance with HIPAA, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, FIPPA, Financial Institution Privacy Protection Act, and Environmental Protection Agencies Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, EPA RCRA. Households:
Electronic Waste disposal by Households- Although televisions and computer monitors are classified as hazardous waste by the EPA, electronic equipment generated as waste by a household is not subject to federal or state regulation as hazardous waste. However we encourage everyone to support the
environment by repairing, reselling, or recycling electronic products they can no longer use.
